Shipping policy

Order Processing Time

We process orders within 3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving full payment. Please note that processing times may vary during peak seasons or due to high demand. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

We offer the following shipping options:

  • FREE for orders to mainland Great Britain over £25
  • £2.99 for orders under £25
  • Royal Mail 24 Hour Tracked Delivery. Tracked 1–2day service.Prices calculated at checkout.

Delivery is within 2-4 business days following the order being processed (excluding Royal Mail 24 Hour Tracked Delivery which is within 1-2 days of the order being processed).

Delivery estimates are provided by our shipping partners and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by natural occurrences or carrier delays.

Currently we are not able to combine orders so each order will be posted separately. However, you will only be charged one shipping fee as calculated at checkout.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking reference to enable you to track your purchase.

International Shipping

Currently we only offer shipping to mainland Great Britain.

Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct. Backburner Candles Ltd. is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping address before completing your purchase. If the wrong address is entered and the parcel is delivered, Backburner Candles Ltd. cannot resend the parcel. If the parcel is returned to Backburner Candles Ltd., we can resend the parcel to the customer if they are happy to pay for the cost of redelivery.

Damaged or Lost Packages

If your package arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact a member of the Backburner Candles team at info@backburnercandles.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery), providing your name, order number and tracking number.

We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and (where applicable) ask for clear photos/videos of the damaged package prior to approving any refund. Items damaged in transit will be refunded at our discretion. Please see our Returns Policy for more information.
